Level Five - Speed, Licks, and Scales

Level Five includes weeks 20 through 25 of the Complete Rock Guitar Course. This is the beginning of the experienced section of the course.

 

Level 5 begins with five-patterns to master the fretboard. Next, how to make guitar playing automatic behavior. Following this is an exercise featuring sequences. In Level 4 we had the 4-note lead. Now we’ve got the 5-note lead which is an entire lead in one position that sounds incredibly melodic. This is based on the BB King Blues Box which is taught here. Midi is explained along with a song and backing track called “Back in Time.” A Speed and Accuracy exercise is included along with much more (bullet points below).
