Level Six - Speed, Licks, and Scales

Level Six includes weeks 26 through 31 of the Complete Rock Guitar Course. This is the experienced section of the course continued.

The quality of your guitar playing depends on the quality of your practice. Proper practice techniques are explained in Level 6. The diatonic modes are taught in this program. For many people, this is the key to understanding lead guitar. The pentatonic is great for simple minor leads, just move it three frets back to play major. Nothing else changes except the root note. Major scale, Dorian mode, Natural minor mode, Mixolydian mode are all explained here. Compositions with backing tracks are include along with tips for improvising lead guitar. Plus lots more (see bullet points below).
