Level Two - Beginning Guitar

Level Two includes weeks 6 through 9 of the Complete Rock Guitar Course. By the end of this program, you'll be at the beginning stage of intermediate guitar.

This explains rhythmic notation (timing and note value). Basic open, first position chords are taught followed by an AC/DC style riff. The real fun begins when you learn how to play barre chords. I’ve always considered this to be the “turning point” of playing rock guitar. Once you’ve conquered barre chords, you’re an intermediate guitarist. To begin the process, I teach a single barre method using drop-d tuning. That means you can begin playing barre chords with one finger. How easy is that?

The next section teaches some simple music theory: intervals, major, and minor chords are explained. We begin a motivation section that explains the top ten tips for mastering guitar. All of this and much more (see bullet points below).
